PRUNUS CAROLINIANA ‘BRIGHT N TIGHT’

Description: This evergreen tree grows 30'-40' in height with a bole up to 10" in diameter. Its leaves are alternate, glossy dark green and evergreen.
Its fragrant white flowers appear on racemes (long stalked bunches) in late winter and early spring. It is frequently kept at shrub stature by pruning.

Usage: A southern favorite for trimmed hedges and screens. Can be kept in shrub form by pruning. Rarely grown as a small attractive specimen tree.
Features: Provided a rich, moist site, cherry laurel is easy to grow and maintain. Its dark green, glossy foliage provides attractive contrast especially in late winter.
